Ray Bradbury (1920-2012) was a prolific fantasy writer that wrote countless stories and many dystopian novels. His best known books are Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, Dandelion Wine, and Something Wicked This Way Comes.
Fahrenheit 451 was first written in the spring of 1950 as a short story titled The Fire Man and finished in only nine days. It was published under the name of Fahrenheit 451 in 1951 and it is still fresh today after almost sixty-five years. |
